OCL continues the  “How CNY Works” study with it’s next study session on how changes in the economic base and employment patterns impact the community as a whole. (Who wins and who loses. Key variables in employment and wage practices)  The next session will be held at the Center of Excellence at 727 E. Washington Street on Monday November 7 from 12-1:30.

OCL’s study sessions are free and open to the public.  They are designed to promote dialogue, reflection and learning around critical community issues. The current study will explore the interrelationship between employers, workers, jobs, wages and overall community prosperity, including implications for dealing with the concentration of poverty in Syracuse today.
