Jai Subedi, recently elected OCL Board member, was featured in a recent segment of WRVO public radio’s series on refugee populations in upstate New York.  Jai, a refugee from Bhutan living in Nepal, came to Syracuse five years ago and has become a U.S. citizen.  A leader in the Bhutanese community who works for one of the community’s refugee resettlement agencies, Jai opened a store on Syracuse’s diverse Northside.  WRVO’s series began last May with a feature on OCL’s report, “The World at Our Doorstep.”
