This report summarizes the importance of the food industry to the economy of Onondaga County. The topics of this report are broken down into four major areas: Production, Processing, Distribution, and Consumption. As a result, the recommendations are divided into these categories as well. OCL felt that this report was of great importance to the community because the food industry is the largest industry in Onondaga County.
