OCL  continues its current study, “How CNY Works” by inviting the public to participate in the next study session that will continue to examine neighborhood economic development and grassroots efforts. Where the earlier session emphasized large-scale, top-down economic planning and development, the Dec. 14 session will take a look at bottom-up, decentralized business and neighborhood development and the work done by those in the field.

The next study session will be held on Wednesday, December 14, from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at the South Side Innovation Center (2610 S. Salina St.). OCL’s study sessions are free and open to the public.

Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Attendees are invited to bring and eat lunch during the presentation.
